The Demento Dimension! (w/ Xeres of Xeron)

The Demento Dimension! (w/ Xeres of Xeron) (#234) (843)

In this episode, I’m joined by Xeres of Xeron, who wrote and programmed this show, too. (With a little help from me, too.) Two hours of novelty music! Help us raise money for the Parade of Pennies, before we both find out it is a scam. And enjoy some excellent tunes, too.

Enjoy!

One thought on “The Demento Dimension! (w/ Xeres of Xeron)

  1. This was a fun show. I’m a long time Dr.Demento fan and have tons of novelty music in my archives.. so when i saw this show announced I was excited for it.. and also expected it to be mostly just a collection of classic tracks from the Dr. D show… and well it WAS THAT for the most part.. lots and lots of fun songs that I hadnt heard in a long time being played together as they always have been when anyone puts together something to honor the Dr. Demento program…. BUT THEN.. about 3/4 thru the show.. .it takes a very neat turn… when the King Missile track happens the show BECOMES the Dr. Demento show.. it actual REACHES the “Demento Dimension” as advertised.. the rest of the show is filled with interesting and weird tracks put together in a way that keeps you attentive and waiting to see just what is coming next.. and THAT was what made the Dr. D show so fun.. it would be 4 hours long and you would have no clue what was coming next.. until it was Top 10 time and the classics were brought out to appease the listening audience that waited for them. This last portion of THIS show really reminded me of actually listening to the Dr. Demento show.. and the backwards Napoleon the 14th to close was a great cherry on top. kudos to both of you for a fun listen -/\-
