Monkey Mutation Madness!
To kick-start the summer this year, I decided to do something I’ve never done before: Monkey Mutation Madness! Over the course of five shows, I busted our 10 hours of Monkey Music, the likes of which most have never heard before. Join us for a Gorilla Assault on the rock and roll hall of fame, and Punk and Garage glory help tell the story of these animal siblings that are so very, very much like us.

A Sea Captain and his crew are hired by a Hollywood filmmaker (in a story lifted from a children’s album), who has an up and coming starlet and plenty of camera folks in tow, with a crazy plan to make a film on the ominously-named Skull Island. Good thing I’ve brought plenty of Punk & Garage Records for us to enjoy along the way!

In part two of our installment, the incredible monster, Kong, is transported back to New York, where his big broadway debut is met with confusion and frustration, and eventually lots of rock and roll records! But we’re not done monkeying around yet!

Journey To The Combat Breaking Out On The Underside Of The Planet of The Apes!
Using the classic early 70’s kids records produced by Power Records, we offer a trip through several stories related to that fabled Planet we know all too well. But what happens when the Apes realize that we humans have infiltrated their planet? Hopefully we’ve got enough records to keep them at bay!

Another offering of the Power Records kids recordings, that offered Jr. Editions of the Planet of the Apes stories! In this episodes, with tales largely drawn from the TV show, we get to know what it’s like to be pursed by Apes, meeting people in local villages, helping them right the wrongs locally, and the move on to the next episodes. It’s The Fugitive Meets Planet of The Apes this week, with Punk and Garage glory to help tie it all together!

It’s A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad Monkey Mutation! (The Final Monkey Mutation Madness?!?)
While we’ve done everything in our power to keep the Monkeys at Bay, in this finally installment (for now…) we discover that the Mid-Valley is under attack my Gorillas, Monkeys, Apes and other Simian friends, who are a little annoyed to have been put on a sanctuary instead of enjoying life in the big cities. Will Man and Monkey learn to live in peace? And what’s this about a robot invasion on the horizon…?
