Talkdemonic, LIVE! (Live Friday 053)

Local stars in the PDX music scene, Talkdemonic is Kevin O’Connor (drums, synths, pianos, programming, bass, accordion, banjo, guitar, rhodes, wurlitzer, etc.) and Lisa Molinaro (viola and synths). What began in 2002 as a recording project soon evolved into a full album, recorded over a year in basements, bedrooms, and at a real studio. A flurry of touring and playing out following, and another album surfaced last year. Their songs are beautifully crafted electro pop, combining the organic and synthetic, old and new, in ways that have really generated a big fan base, and not just in PDX.
