The Lonesome Highway? (KWVA Episode 007.5)

As part of my volunteer work for the station, I did a coverage show one Sunday, from 4 – 6 P.M.  The show I was covering for was The Lonesome Highway, a weekly country show.  With hindsight, I regret not doing an all-country show.  However, at the time, I wouldn’t have had enough stuff to fill two hours.  Still, I enjoyed this show because it was the most exposure I had on the air during these early days.  I got a lot of calls, and even my boss at the bookstore listened.  I had been drinking at the river all day, on top of taking some allergy medicine, so this was a very strange show.  Being done in the middle of the day was equally strange.
